An open house is not just a viewing, it is a launch event. By concentrating interest into one moment, we create urgency, competition and momentum that often lead to faster sales and stronger offers.

To maximise your selling price and minimise the stress and disruption that marketing a home can have on your life, we encourage all of our sellers to use our Open House service.

An Open House allows us to do all of the viewings in one go, meaning you only need to have your property in “show home” condition once, leaving you to get on with your normal day to day life the rest of the time. This increases awareness and generates urgency amongst potential buyers, often resulting in multiple offers and giving us the leverage to negotiate the highest price for your property.

We have a marketing period of 7 to 10 days in the run up to the Open House after the property launch, allowing us to fill all of the available viewing slots with serious buyers. Every person who attends must first confirm they have explored the virtual tour, then register and sign in to access the property.

Our team hosts the Open House from start to finish, meaning you can enjoy a stress free day. Once the last viewer has left, we wipe down your work surfaces and door handles, lock up, and send you a message letting you know you can return home at your leisure. We leave your home exactly as we found it — you won’t even know we’ve been there.

If the property is not sold during the Open House, our work doesn’t stop there. We continue immediately with private visits and guided tours for qualified buyers who may have been unable to attend, maintaining the same energy and momentum created during the launch. Every visit is handled by our team personally, ensuring that your home is always presented at its best and that no opportunity is missed until the sale is completed.

How Offers Work

At One.Homes, we make the offer process simple, transparent, and respectful of everyone’s time.

1. Submit Your Offer Online
Buyers complete a secure online form with their offer amount, preferred timing, and conditions such as financing. They immediately receive confirmation once the offer is received.

2. Seller Review Within 48 Hours
We present the offer to you within 48 hours. Buyers are notified promptly once a decision is made — whether accepted, declined, or if clarification is needed.

3. Competing Offers
If multiple offers are received, buyers are notified and given the chance to submit their best and final offer. This creates healthy competition and often results in stronger terms for you as the seller.

4. Reservation and Due Diligence
Once an offer is accepted, a reservation document is signed, a deposit is made, and full property documentation is provided while legal checks are completed.

Why We Handle Offers This Way

Transparency builds trust — Buyers know how and when their offer will be reviewed, and whether there are competing bids. This keeps buyers engaged and gives sellers stronger results.

Clarity creates confidence — A structured process ensures you can evaluate offers calmly and buyers can make informed decisions.

Equal opportunity for all — Every serious buyer gets a fair shot. No one is left waiting indefinitely or wondering where they stand.
